Portable DVD Recorder

I have been asked many times about a good option for recording video with remote visual inspection equipment that does not have the capability built in. Although it is more and more common for videoscopes to have built in video recording capability many recent models still do not have the option. Fiberscopes and rigid borescopes will always require a separate video display/recording device.

One of the best solutions I have found for remote visual inspection users to easily record their inspections and transfer digital images to a DVD is with the Sony VRD-MC10 DVDirect® multi function DVD recorder. This device records standard definition or high definition AVCHD DVD discs that you can playback in your compatible DVD or Blu-ray Disc™ player. The Sony VRD-MC10 incorporates memory card slots for popular camera memory cards and will directly record images from the memory card to DVD. You can also preview video and digital images on the built-in 2.7″ color LCD screen.
