Fiberscopes are flexible, generally inexpensive and provide an excellent image. Fiberscopes relay the image back to an eye piece via a coherent fiber optic bundle A separate fiber optic bundle is contained in the insertion tube to illuminate the inspection area. The eyepiece may be fitted with a coupler lens to allow the fiberscope to be used with a video or CCD camera.
